Kitchen Transformation in Bathgate, West Lothian
A tired or dated kitchen doesn’t always need to be completely replaced.
This recent project in Bathgate, West Lothian is a great example of how existing kitchen units can be transformed using professional architectural finishes, creating a much more contemporary look without the disruption of installing an entirely new kitchen.
The original kitchen had a light wood-style finish which was beginning to feel dated. By resurfacing the existing doors and panels in a much darker contemporary finish, the whole room has been given a sharper, more modern appearance.
The transformation was completed in just two days.
A completely different look without replacing the kitchen
If the layout of your kitchen still works and the units themselves are in good condition, replacing everything can be unnecessary.
Kitchen wrapping allows suitable existing doors, drawer fronts and panels to be professionally resurfaced while keeping the main kitchen structure in place.
In this Bathgate kitchen, the change from the original pale wood finish to the new dark surfaces makes a dramatic difference. Even though the layout remains largely the same, the kitchen feels much more contemporary and considered.
Professional architectural finishes
Transform Interiors uses specialist architectural finishes rather than standard DIY vinyl.
These finishes are designed for demanding interiors and similar materials are used within commercial settings including hospitals, cinemas, offices and hospitality environments.
There are thousands of colour, texture and finish combinations available, making it possible to create anything from a subtle refresh to a complete change of style.
Why wrap your kitchen instead of replacing it?
For the right kitchen, resurfacing can offer some major advantages:
much less disruption
a faster installation
less waste
a wide choice of finishes
significantly lower cost than a completely new kitchen
This Bathgate project was completed in just two days, giving the customer a striking new look without weeks of building work.
